TNPSC Group 4 Vacancies Increased: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has once again increased the number of vacancies for Group 4 services. As per the latest update, TNPSC has increased 41 vacancies, which makes a total of 9532 vacancies. Continue reading the article for a detailed breakdown of all important announcements.

TNPSC Group 4 Vacancies

Earlier in 2024, TNPSC released the notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates for 6244 vacancies on 23 different posts for which the examination was conducted on June 9, 2024 and approximately 15.88 lakh candidates attempted the written examination. 

TNPSC has increased vacancies Group 4 vacancies have many phases. First, it has increased 480 vacancies; then 2208 vacancies were added; after that, 559 more vacancies were added and 41 more were added to make the final number 9532. Check the table below for phase-wise vacancies

TNPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern

The TNPSC Group 4 written exam comprises objective-type questions. The exam is divided into two parts, i.e., Part A and Part B. Total marks obtained in Part A and Part B will be considered for ranking. The medium of questions in Part A of the Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test will be Tamil only. The questions in Part B will be set both in Tamil and English. Part B of the answer sheets will be evaluated only if the aspirants secure minimum qualifying marks of 40% (i.e., 60 Marks) in Part A.
