UGC NET Exam Date 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam date for the UGC NET 2024 June session. Session 1 of UGC NET 2024 is scheduled to take place on June 18 instead of June 16. The change in the exam schedule comes in response to feedback from candidates, as it clashed with the UPSC CSE (Prelims) Examination – 2024.

UGC NET Exam Date 2024

UGC NET is a highly competitive exam which is conducted twice a year to select qualified candidates for Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions. The exam date was initially announced in the official notification. However, it has been revised due to a clash with the UPSC CSE (Prelims) Exam. According to the announcement, the UGC NET Exam Date for June 2024 is now scheduled for June 18 instead of the previously scheduled date of June 16. The results of the CBT exam will be declared after three weeks of the conclusion of the examination.

The National Testing Agency and UGC have decided to shift the UGC-NET from 16 June (Sunday) to 18 June 2024 (Tuesday) because of feedback received from candidates. UGC NET 2024 Application Form Date

NTA has activated the UGC NET application link on its official website. Aspirants planning to apply for UGC NET 2024 exam must submit their application forms before the last date as no forms shall be accepted post it under any circumstances. The deadline for the submission of the application form is May 10, 2024.
