UPSC CSE Exam Date 2025 Out: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 on May 25, 2025 (Sunday) to recruit eligible candidates for IAS, IPS, IFS, and other Group A and B services. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official schedule for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025. As per the latest update, the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 will be conducted on May 25, 2025, and the notification was released on January 22, 2025.

UPSC CSE Exam Day Guidelines

• Carry a printed e-Admit Card and valid photo ID to the exam centre.
• Reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the start time.
• Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and any kind of communication device are strictly prohibited.
• Only black ballpoint pens are allowed to mark answers on the OMR sheet.

UPSC CSE Exam Pattern 2025 (Prelims)

The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 will consist of two objective-type papers—General Studies Paper I and CSAT Paper II, each carrying 200 marks and lasting 2 hours. While Paper II (CSAT) is qualifying in nature with a minimum passing mark of 33%, only Paper I scores will be considered for selection to the Mains stage.
