UPSC CSE Exam Day Guidelines
- Carry a printed e-Admit Card and valid photo ID to the exam centre.
- Reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the start time.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and any kind of communication device are strictly prohibited.
- Only black ballpoint pens are allowed to mark answers on the OMR sheet.
- Follow the instructions provided in the question paper and by the invigilators.
UPSC CSE Exam Pattern 2025 (Prelims)
The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 will consist of two objective-type papers—General Studies Paper I and CSAT Paper II, each carrying 200 marks and lasting 2 hours. While Paper II (CSAT) is qualifying in nature with a minimum passing mark of 33%, only Paper I scores will be considered for selection to the Mains stage.
