UPSC Prelims 2025: Notice for PwBD Candidates Released, Check Details Here

UPSC Prelims 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) prelims exam for Civil Service Examination (CSE) is scheduled to be conducted on May 25, 2025. The UPSC has released the important notice for PwBD/PwD candidates regarding scribe changes. 

The UPSC Prelims 2025 will be conducted in two shifts. 

The first shift is for General Studies Paper I, which is from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The second shift is for the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper II, which is from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

UPSC Prelims 2025: Important Notice for PwBD Candidates

UPSC has released the important notice  for PwBD on its official website. The Notice reads,

The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, on 25th May, 2025 (Sunday) all over India.

The candidates who have applied for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, under the Persons with Benchmark Disability/Persons with Disability (for short 'PwBD/PwD) category and have opted for availing the facility of Scribe (Commission/Own), are hereby informed that if any such candidate wants to change his/her scribe for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, he/she may forward his/her request along with details of his/her new scribe till 18.05.2025 (04:00 PM) to uscsp-upsc@nic.in.

Requests for change of scribe for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, received till 18.05.2025 (04:00 PM) at the email address uscsp-upsc@nic.in will be considered by the Commission.

It may also be noted that no request for change of scribe for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, received on any other email ID (except uscsp-upsc@nic.in) or received after 18.05.2025 (04:00 PM), will be entertained by the Commission.”
