Will long educational gap hamper the chances of studying further or starting own work?

Question: My friend has passed tenth class in 2001 with third division. She wants to study further and do business. Is studying possible for her now?

Deepti

Answer: Your friend should at first complete her school studies and enrol herself in 11th standard through open school. In addition, she can start her own business after doing some vocational course from institutes like ITIs, Women Training nstitutes that offer various courses enabling self employment after tenth. For business, individual ability is more important than studies, and she is the best judge of her abilities according to her situation and skills. Once she decides to take up a vocational course and gradually complete her studies, she will be high on confidence and will be able to decide on her career well.
