XLRI increased PGDM (BM) seats by 60, now total being 180

    60 more seats have been added in Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) offered by XLRI Jamshedpur, and this move will come into effect from academic session 2013-2014 onwards.

    The addition of the 60 more seats have now made XLRI offering total of 180 seats to be secured by the applicants of PGDM Program.

    Fr E Abraham (Director of XLRI Jamshedpur) informed that it has been decided to increase the no. of seats for current admission year, after getting approval of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

    XLRI being one of the top Business-school offers regular 2-year full time management programmes - Business Management (BM) & Human Resources Management (HRM), each program having 120 seats, till last academic year.

    Now that total of 60 new more seats have been added in BM, the total number of seats on offer becomes 300.

    Prof Vishwa Ballabh, admission chairperson of XLRI, hopes that XLRI institute will acquire approval for 60 more seats for its PGDHRM course, by the commencement of next academic session.
    Admission office of XLRI tells, the institute has proclaimed an extensive waiting list of applicants to fill the additional seats. 

    Prof Vishwa Ballabh also mentioned that the institute’s faculty strength is sufficient for increase in seats, alongside the additional students in this academic year will without any difficulty be accommodated into the current hostel facility of the campus.
