Bhuvnesh Chaturvedi, the former Union Minister died on 2 March 2014 at a private heart hospital in Kota after protracted illness. He died at the age of 85.
He was the Minister of State from 1993 to 1996 in the PMO during the tenure of Narsimha Rao.

• He was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan for three consecutive terms from 1982 to 2000
• He was born on 2 May 1928 in Mainapuri in Uttar Pradesh
