The Union Cabinet headed by PM Modi has approved the 'One Nation, One Election' proposal. This proposal is a big step towards holding Lok Sabha and state assembly elections simultaneously. For this, a committee was formed under the chairmanship of former President Ram Nath Kovind.

Amazon India has announced the appointment of Sameer Kumar as its new Country Manager. He will lead the e-commerce giant's Indian business besides leading consumer businesses in the Middle East, South Africa and Türkiye.  He will assume the new role from October 1.
