The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha has started today. Newly elected members of the lower house, including Narendra Modi, took oath. Meanwhile, President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath to BJP leader Bhartruhari Mahtab as the Protem Speaker of the Lok Sabha. Let us inform you that the election of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha will be held on 26 June. After this, on the next day i.e. on 27th June, President Murmu will address the joint meeting of both the Houses. This special session of Parliament will end on July 3.
