Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) in Rajasthan's Jaipur district through video conferencing on September 30, 2021.

Indian hockey star Rupinder Pal Singh has decided to retire from the sport and make way for the young brigade. The defender was a part of the Indian men's hockey team's historic journey to a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
