On 3 August 2010 Dish TV announced the launch of region- and language-specific packages for the southern market. These packages would cater to the diversity in the southern market and each State would represent different patterns. The packages are named- Tango Tamil, Magical Malayalam, Terrific Telugu and Ultimate Urdu. Packages are designed to cater to the specific requirements of local population starting with a monthly subscription of Rs 125.
