On September 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged the public to take part in the sixth edition of the souvenirs he received at various public events he attended in India and abroad.
The sixth edition of the online auction for mementos and gifts went live on September 17th, the birthday of PM Modi. Since its start in 2019, the program has raised over Rs 50 crore for each of its five iterations.
Money Collected Will Go To
As per the announcement made by Prime Minister Modi himself, the money collected by this online bidding will be used for the ‘Namami Gange’ Project.

Most Expensive in PM Modi's Auction
One of the main attractions in the current e-auction is a pair of running spike shoes that High jumper Nishad Kumar gave to Prime Minister Modi. These are the same shoes Kumar wore when winning the Paris Paralympics silver medal.

How to Participate in PM Mementos E-Auction
Anyone from India can participate in the online auction of PM Modi’s gifts. Here’s how to participate in the auction:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PM momentos auction, pmmementos.gov.in.
Step 1: Sign in to your account by filling in your credentials.
Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process.
Step 3: Look through the item catalog, including those in the 'Live Auctions' section.
Step 4: Add your chosen items to the cart and enter your bid amount.
Step 5: You can continue to participate until the auction finishes.
Step 6: After the auction ends, the highest bidder will make payment through the portal.
Step 7: The item will be shipped to your address.
The presents given to Prime Minister Modi will be put up for sale online by the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), which is part of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Only Indian residents can participate in this auction.
