Jagran Prakashan Limited (JPL), the publisher of the India’s largest read daily Dainik Jagran, on 2 April 2012 bought Suvi Info Management (Indore) Private Limited, the company that under its subsidiary Nai Dunia Media Limited publishes Hindi daily Nai Dunia in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Nai Dunia, which has a daily circulation of around 500000 copies, publishes several editions from Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh and Raipur and Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.
Jagran Prakashan Limited had acquired English daily Mid Day in 2010 in a 175 crore rupees deal. The new acquisition will enable the company to grow inorganically through mergers and acquisitions.
