Justice Murugesan became the new chief Justice of Delhi Court

Justice Darmar Murugesan, the former judge of the Madras High Court, on 26 September 2012 sworn in as Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court Lt. Gov. Tejendra Khanna.

He replaced the acting Chief Justice A.K. Sikri, who was elevated as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Justice Murugesan was born on June 10, 1951. He was appointed as Judge of the Madras High Court on March 2, 2000, and as Permanent Judge on June 13, 2001. He is going to have a brief tenure of nine months as Chief Justice.
