Mahindra & Mahindra in Tie-up with Maschio Group

Mahindra & Mahindra on 4 December declared that it tied up with Italy-based farm equipment company Maschio-Gaspardo SpA to get supply of a complete range of rotary tillage equipment. Maschio and Mahindra AppliTrac (part of Mahindra & Mahindra's farm equipment sector) as par the agreement will manufacture rotovators. Maschio will also manufacture other kinds of rotary tillage equipment for planting, seeding, crop care and crop residue management for Mahindra AppliTrac. The products manufactured would bear the Mahindra brand name and will be made available through both Mahindra and Swaraj dealerships.

Mahindra AppliTrac business focuses on the complete value-chain of farm mechanisation solutions. The 150-million euro Maschio Group on the other hand has four large production centres in Italy and manages a large industrial group that includes two production companies.
