Microsoft India’s Chairman Ravi Venkatesan Resigned

Microsoft India Chairman and Corporate Vice President Ravi Venkatesan resigned from his post.

Microsoft declared on 10 February 2011 that Microsoft India Chairman and Corporate Vice President Ravi Venkatesan has resigned. Venkatesan resigned as Microsoft India’s chairman as he decided to pursue opportunities outside Microsoft. Since the time Ravi came to Microsoft India at a critical time he has architected Microsoft’s growthand helped to build a strong market in India.


Sanket Akerkar will continue to lead overall sales, marketing and services businesses as the Sales and Marketing Head for India, while Hemant Sachdev will continue to lead the Consumer and Online business.
