MTS slashed its internet charges for Delhi-NCR customers on 26 June 2012 by 60 percent. The net surfing for the customer is reduced up to 1/3 of the previous rate. MTS is operated by Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL).
MTS new data plans ranging from 96 rupees with 1 GB data usage and one day validity to 998 rupees with 6 GB data usage and 90 days validity. Previously, for 512MB data is on 348 rupees but now customer will get 1.5GB data usage in 348 rupees that means 60 percent fall in usage charges.
As part from that, the company had also introduced special tariff voucher (STV) of 698 rupees with 4 GB data usage and 60 days validity.
