On April 25, 2021, Mumbai reproted 5,542 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the overall number of cases to 6,27,651. Being one of the most affected states, Maharashtra reported daily records of COVID-19 deaths, resgitering total 832 fatalities. However, on a positive note, the daily detection of infected cases saw a slight dip on April 25 with 66,191 cases, which is down from 67,160 cases on April 24, 2021.

Shivam Hospital CVC (Khandiwali West), and Surana Sethia (Chembur) are also functional. They have been administering both the doses of Covishield and 2nd dose of COVAXIN. Sant Muktabai Gen. Hospital CVC (Bharve Nagar) is also functional and is administering Covishield.

Mumbai's G/North ward witnesses a dip in COVID-19 cases
After the city witnessed a steep curve in positive cases, Mumbai's G/North ward has reported a dip in the fresh cases on April 26, 2021, as it reported 95 cases against the 135 cases on April 25. Mumbai's G/North ward include areas such as Dharavi, Mahim and Dadar. Dharavi recorded 25 new cases, Mahim recorded 39 cases and Dadar recorded 30 new cases.
