According to the sources from the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), Bhaker will represent India as the women's flagbearer at the event.

Manu Bhaker was the one who started India's medal tally at the Paris Olympics by winning bronze in the individual 10m air pistol event, making her the first Indian markswoman to earn an Olympic medal.
She then partnered with Sarabjot Singh to win another bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. With this second medal, Manu made history as the first Indian since independence to win two Olympic medals in a single Olympics.
Who will be the Flagbearer for Indian Team?
According to a PTI report, India's top shooter Manu Bhaker has been chosen to carry the flag at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympics on Sunday.
An official from the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) confirmed, "Yes, Manu has been chosen to be the flag bearer. She has performed exceptionally well and deserves this honor."
Manu Bhaker had previously said that she would consider it an honour to lead India in the closing ceremony parade of the Paris Olympics.
PR Sreejesh to Lead Indian Contingent
The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has selected PR Sreejesh as the male flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024. Sreejesh, who had already announced that the Paris Olympics would mark his retirement from international hockey, will represent India one last time in this honorary role.
IOA will soon decide on the name of the flag bearer. The closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics is set to take place on August 11.

What will happen in Closing Ceremony?
As per the tradition, many ceremonies are included in the closing ceremony that has been constant over the years, like the Antwerp ceremony.
A final medal ceremony, speeches, the extinguishing of the Olympic flame, and the customary parade of athletes and flags will all be included in the closing ceremony. After that, the Olympic flag will be given to Los Angeles, the 2028 Summer Games host city. Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, will be present at the event.

Events like marathon finals, basketball, volleyball, and water polo have been scheduled on the same day as the ceremony. Teams winning these events can be awarded their respective medals during the ceremony.
