Objective of the Prasar Bharti’s OTT Platform
In an effort to increase its online visibility, Prasar Bharati asked TV broadcasters to join its over-the-top platform earlier in August. Prasar Bharati keeps the remaining 35% of the ad money while participating stations receive 65%. This program presents a novel revenue-sharing mechanism. This strategy seeks to increase the platform's attractiveness and draw in new content producers.
