Preneet Kaur, the Minister of State for External Affairs of India visited to Serbia on a three day visit from 18 to 21 November 2013.

Preneet KaurPreneet Kaur, the Minister of State for External Affairs of India was on a three day visit from 18-21 November 2013 to Serbia. During her visit, she met Ivica Dacic, the Prime Minister of Serbia.

During this meeting, she discussed on matters of bilateral relations including the economic cooperation, exchange of high level visits, people-to-people contact, issues relating to visa regime and UNSC expansion.

The Serbian Prime Minister appreciated the stand of India on Kosovo. The Prime Minister also emphasized the need for further cooperation in the fields of IT, pharma, investment, film production, agriculture and various other sectors.

During her visit to Belgrade, she also visited Gandhi Street named in 1970 and Nehru Street named in 1972. She also garlanded the busts of Mahatma Gandhi, which was unveiled in 2007 and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru unveiled in 1990.
