Roger Federer defeated 47th ranked Germany’s Florian Mayer to win the Stockholm Open on 24 October 2010.

Swiss top seeded tennis player Roger Federer defeated 47th ranked Germany’s Florian Mayer 6-4, 6-3 to win the Stockholm Open on 24 October 2010. The winning of the Stockholm Open enabled him to match Pete Sampras’ record of 64 career titles. The Stockholm Open is his third title of 2010. Jimmy Connors (109), Ivan Lendl (94) and John McEnroe (77) are others who have won record number of singles since 1968.
