Saina Nehwal, the Indian badminton player, won Hong Kong Open on 12 December 2010, in Wanchai by defeating Shixian Wang of China. It was the fourth Super Series title of her career. Earlier, Saina Nehwal had won Indian Open Grand Prix, Singapore Open Super Series and had defended her Indonesian Super Series title.
Saina Nehwal had also won the gold medal in the commonwealth games in October 2010, held in India.
Shixian Wang was the Guangzhou Asian games gold medallist.
