In Nepal, the Supreme Court on 28 March 2012 upheld its earlier decision that the term of the Constituent Assembly will not be extended after the deadline ends on 27 May 2012.
The apex court of Nepal had rejected the review petition in December 2011 filed by Prime Minister of Nepal Baburam Bhattarai and Constituent Assembly Chairman Subhash Chandra Nemwang.

The review petition had asked for the extension of Nepal’s Constituent Assembly.
