The two-day Biannual Conference of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) concluded in New Delhi on 16 April 2013. In the final conclusion event, Minister of State for Defence and Youth Affairs & Sports emphasised on the need for spreading the reach of the NCC to a larger number of Schools and Colleges.
The role of NCC is to develop of leadership skills amongst the cadets which in turn help the nation. The NCC State Heads were asked to maintain close liaison with their State Governments so that initiatives of the NCC are implemented in an effective manner.
The latest progress on various issues related to the improved training of cadets through the new Training Philosophy was shared in the event by the Director General of NCC.
The conference of regional heads focused on implementation of new training programme and implementation methodology for NCC as an elective subject in 30 autonomous Universities in India.
The two-day Biannual Conference of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) was attended by heads of NCC of all directorates. During the conference, plans and implementation procedures of this premier youth organisation were formulated.
