US Cargo Plane KC-135 Stratotanker crashed near Chaldovar village on 3 May 2013 after taking off from an airbase in Kyrgyzstan. It crashed at around 15:00 local time. The tanker aircraft took off the flight from US Manas Airbase in the capital city Bishkek. The Cargo Plane was carrying fuel when it crashed after disappearing off from the radars.
Manas Airbase is used by US to maintain its operations in Afghanistan. Like ferry troops into the country, refuel warplanes and evacuate wounded soldiers. Earlier on 29 April 2013 a Civilian Cargo Plane Boeing 747 crashed at Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan. In this incident, seven crew members of the plane died on-board.
