US Government appointed Indian-American Jawahar Kaliani to OCC, Department of Treasury

US Government on 2 May 2014 appointed Indian-American Jawahar Kaliani to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Department of Treasury.

Jawahar Kaliani will serve as Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) for Application Services Delivery (ASD) at the office of OCC. He takes the charge on 5 May 2014.

He will lead the development and implementation of complex applications to deliver secure business solutions that meet organisational priorities and support the agency’s mission of ensuring the safety and soundness of national banks and federal savings associations.

Earlier, he served as Vice president of Customer Operations Management at Amdocs Ins.  Amdocs Inc is a large-scale services and business IT solutions supporting major telecommunication company which managed more than 30 billion US dollar in annual billings.
