UTV Motion Pictures Announced to Distribute Five Malayalam Films

UTV Motion Pictures on 5 November 2013 announced that it will handle the India theatrical distribution rights of five films in Malayalam. One of the titles also includes Mohanlal-starrer Koothara, which is directed by Srinath Rajendran.

Other titles are- Jisjoy's Bicycle Thieves, Albey's Pournami, Jinu G. Daniel's Rasputin and Azad Alavil's Nikkah. These films will be released by April 2014. G. Dhananjayan, Chief, South Business - Studios, Disney UTV explained that every film has its own exclusive story.

It is important to note that earlier, UTV had distributed Malayalam films such as Husbands in Goa and Grandmaster. New films to be distributed by UTV will be accessible to everyone and will be released at a large-scale level. These films will be distributed to huge audience of exhibitors and viewers.
