Varun Berry, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PepsiCo India Food resigned from the company on 29 February 2012.
Berry, who had been attached with PepsiCo for last 18 years, was instrumental in company’s businesses in businesses in India, Asia and the Middle East.
As the CEO of PepsiCo India Foods, he was at the helm of company’s popular brands such as Lay’s, Quaker, Kurkure and Lehar.
Berry in his 18-year long career with PepsiCo served the company in various capacities in different countries. He served as the head of Dubai based International Dairy & Juice Ltd., a joint venture of PepsiCo and Saudi Arabia-based dairy company Almarai.
Before that he served as the General Manager for PepsiCo in the Philippines, with responsibility for both foods and beverages. He also served the company in Vietnam.
