About World Badminton championships
• The World Badminton championship was first held in 1977 for every two years once, since 2003 it is held every year.
• It contains individuals in five events, Men’s singles, Women’s singles, Men’s and Women’s doubles and Mixed doubles.
• Denmark has hosted the World Badminton Championship event thrice in 1983, 1991 and 1999 in Copenhagen.
