What is Bharat Parv?
Bharat Parv is a 9-day long celebration of freedom and sovereignty. It will focus on showcasing the nation’s diversity through tableaux, cultural performances and army band performances. According to PIB, “The highlights of the mega event are the Republic Day Parade tableaux, dynamic cultural performances by the Zonal Cultural Centres and engaging presentations by cultural troupes from various States and Union Territories, food stall representing all the States and UTs, handicraft and handloom display and enthusiastic performances by the Armed Forces Band.

Bharat Parv 2024: Activities
The government's citizen-focused programmes and initiatives, including Mission Life, One District One Product, Viksit Bharat, Nari Shakti, and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, are being showcased at this year's Parv by 26 Central Ministries and Departments. To promote Dekho Apna Desh, a cutting-edge technological experience zone is also set at the event. Also, more than 30 States and UTs have set up themed pavilions to highlight the variety of tourist destinations in the nation.
The various sections of the Bharat Parv 2024 including regional cuisine from different states and UTs handicraft and handloom stalls, culture & heritage and activity zone are set to add richness and vibrancy to the annual event.
