Additionally, they've won the 2023 title, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru triumphed in 2024. The Delhi Capitals finished as runners-up in both seasons.

The Women's Premier League (WPL) has seen thrilling competitions since its inception. In 2023, the Mumbai Indians clinched the inaugural WPL trophy, defeating the Delhi Capitals by seven wickets in the final. 

Delhi's captain, Meg Lanning, earned the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs in the season, amassing 345 runs in nine innings. Hayley Matthews of the Mumbai Indians was the standout all-rounder, securing both the Purple Cap with 16 wickets and the Most Valuable Player award. 

The 2024 season saw Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) emerge as champions, overcoming Delhi Capitals in a low-scoring final. Ellyse Perry of RCB topped the run charts with 347 runs in nine matches, earning her the Orange Cap.

Shreyanka Patil, also from RCB, claimed the Purple Cap by taking 13 wickets in the season. Deepti Sharma of UP Warriorz was recognised as the Most Valuable Player for her consistent all-round performances.

In the third season, the Mumbai Indians emerged as the winners for the 2025 Women's Premier League Trophy. They won by 8 runs against the Delhi Capitals, who have been the runner-ups for the WPL title. They won by 8 runs, with MI making 149 runs in 20 overs with 7 wickets down. Whereas, Delhi Capitals made a total of 141 runs in 20 overs with 9 wickets down.
