   The Central Government has officially notified a 24% increase in the salary, allowances, and pension of Members of Parliament (MPs) and former MPs, effective from April 1, 2023. The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs announced that the monthly salary of MPs has been revised from ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,24,000, along with an increase in daily allowances and pension benefits.
