Changing Address on Voter ID Card

Visit the electoral office or the official website of the Voters Service Portal. We are linking it here: https://voters.eci.gov.in/
Fill out the Form 8. It allows you to make changes to your voter ID card, including a change of address.
Fill up the necessary details along with a valid address proof (utility bills, passport, driver's licence, Aadhaar card, bank passbook), or attach a copy of the required documents, if you are submitting a hard copy.
Once you have filled in the necessary details, click on the submit button. Or you can submit the documents to the electoral office.
After careful submission, you will receive a reference number for tracking your application.
Your application will undergo a careful verification process by EC officers.
Upon successful verification, you will receive a notification.
Your voter ID card is now updated with the changed address. You can download it digitally or collect a physical copy from the electoral office.
