Tech Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg Reveals His Secret Hawaiian Cattle Diet for World's Highest-Quality Beef
Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg is pioneering an ultra-luxury cattle project at his private Hawaiian compound. By feeding his herd a carefully managed diet, his ultimate goal is to produce the world's highest-quality beef through advanced livestock genetics and nutrition.
Mark Zuckerberg owes his global popularity to his successfully running tech empire Meta. But when away from the tech world Zuckerberg spends his time rearing cattle and brewing beer.
His current rearing and brewing hobby takes place at his $300 million private Ko’olau Ranch in Kauai, Hawaii.
Zuckerberg is deeply and unconventionally passionate about breeding an elite cross of Wagyu and Angus cattle at his Hawaiian cattle farm with the ultimate goal of creating the world’s highest-quality beef as he claims.
The Meta CEO recently opened up about his take and understanding of the intense genetic pairing and science behind the hands-on family involvement in driving this low stakes beef production project while speaking on the Idea Generation podcast.
Scientific Idea behind Zuckerberg's Luxury Cattle Diet
Critics have again and again questioned the idea behind pampering livestock by feeding them high-quality nuts and beers. But Zuckerberg claims that the diet he gives to his cattle combines biological precision with meticulous care.
Cattles in the Hawaiian farm of Zuckerberg do not just roam but follow a highly specific energy driven exercise regimen. It results in a better, more marvelous, and flavorful of the cattles as he claims.
What does Zuckerberg feed his Cattles for World’s Highest Quality Beef?
All the cattle in the ranch of Meta CEO feed upon two main ingredients one after another to overcome a natural biological hurdle:
1. Roasted Macadamia Nuts
The Macadamia roasted nuts are cultivated directly on the estate. These nuts are incredibly rich in calories and the healthy oils within maintain their weight along with maximizing flavor. But macadamias are also known to make the animals feel full very quickly.
2. Home-Brewed Beer
Zuckerberg then treats his herd of cattle some cold home brewed beer with fresh water to overcome the laziness that comes after having Macadamia nuts.
The alcohol acts as a natural appetite stimulant which induces hunger and encourages the cattle to safely consume more feed than they normally would.

The estate has now transformed into a collaborative family homestead. Zuckerberg’s daughters actively participate in the process and help in planting the macadamia orchards and care for the animals too.
