Olympic Medal Tally 2024: The final 13 gold medals of the Paris 2024 Olympics will be awarded on Sunday, August 11th, before the Closing Ceremony later in the evening.

The day kicks off with the women’s marathon, where Kenya’s Hellen Obiri and Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands are among the top contenders for gold.

At the National Velodrome, three track cycling finals will take place, with stars like Harrie Lavreysen, Lotte Kopecky, and Emma Finucane vying for Olympic glory.

In the women’s basketball final on Sunday afternoon, hosts France will face the USA, following the men’s final on Saturday night. The USA will also compete against Italy in the women’s volleyball gold medal match. Other major clashes include Serbia versus Croatia in the men’s water polo final and Germany against Denmark in the men’s handball final.

Team USA added 11 more medals to their tally on Saturday, raising their overall total to 122—32 more than second-place China.

Although China faces a significant and insurmountable gap in overall medals, they have taken the lead in the gold medal count, edging ahead 39-38 with one day of competition remaining.
