The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad has commenced its application process for 2019 Undergraduate Admissions. The institute has a total of 6 modes of admission at the undergraduate level i.e. the Undergraduate Entrance Exam (UGEE), Special Channel of Admission (SPEC), Lateral Entry Entrance Exam (LEEE), Olympiad/KVPY, Direct Admission for Students Abroad (DASA) and through the JEE (Main) Score. The admission process for the Undergraduate Entrance Exam (UGEE) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC) modes began on 11th February 2019.
The application form for the Undergraduate level courses is available on the official website of the institute i.e. www.iiit.ac.in. The last date to apply for admission through UGEE and SPEC is 23rd March 2019. The UGEE or the Undergraduate Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to the different dual degree programmes such as ECD, CSD, CLD, CND, CHD. These dual degree courses are all 5-year programmes. SPEC is the Special Channel of Admission to the B.Tech courses offered by the university. This channel aims to identify students with extraordinary talent or background. The admission to these courses is made on the basis of the computer-based entrance exam and an interview. Both the entrance exam and the interview for UGEE and SPEC are conducted by the IIIT Hyderabad. It is expected that the admission through the Lateral Entry Entrance Exam mode will commence from the next week onwards.
