JAC Exam 2025 Postponed: The Jharkhand Academic Council has announced the Class 8th and 9th exams have been postponed citing ‘unavoidable circumstances’.
The exams which were initially scheduled to be held on January 29 and 30, have been postponed. The councils said that the revised dates for these exams will be announced shortly. Important Instructions For Exam Officials
The JAC board has told exam officials to make sure all exam materials, like question papers and answer sheets, are kept safe during the delay. The board has said it’s very important to keep these materials secure and confidential.
Original Exam Schedule Details
Before the exams were postponed, the JAC board had made available the timetable for classes 8th and 9th. According to the plan, the exams were scheduled to take place in two shifts: 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM and the second shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
JAC Exam Pattern and Assessment
The exams for Classes 8 and 9 will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each subject carrying 50 marks. Schools will also give internal assessment marks, which will be out of 100. For Class 8, the exams will use an OMR sheet, so students should get comfortable with this type of exam.
Admit Cards for Class 9
The admit cards for class 9 will be available soon on the official website of the Jharkhand Academic Council. Students can visit the website regularly to check for updates about their admit card release.
