The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) released an official notification in which it has been stated that the question papers for DElEd examination for papers 506 and 507 were leaked in West Bengal, before the examination. The exam for Papers 506 (Understanding Children in an inclusive context), and 507 (Community & Elementary Education) was conducted on December 20, and 21, 2018 respectively. The official notification regarding the re-examination was declared on the official website, nios.ac.in.
As per the media sources, this critical issue has been reported for investigation and the Institute has also informed the State government officials regarding this matter. As per the evidence available, it came to the notice of NIOS that the question papers were leaked much before the scheduled examination.

The aspirants who will appear for the NIOS DElEd re-examination might get a new admit card. This information although, has not yet been clarified by the NIOS. It is advised to the students to visit the official website for any latest updates on this.
The National Institute of Open Schooling works with the help of a network of five departments, regional centers and the various accredited study centres of India as well as abroad. Currently, about 2.71 million students are enrolled at Secondary, Senior Secondary and Vocational streams.
