Urdu Academy Delhi: Language is the expression of human feelings. It is the most beautiful and sophisticated way to show what one thinks and what one has to say. It does not matter what language one is speaking, the feelings are the same. In a recent development, the Urdu Academy of Delhi government is going to conduct a calligraphy course. It is interesting to note that the calligraphy course will be free of cost.
The candidates who are interested in this calligraphy course will have to appear for an entrance exam. According to the officials, the entrance exam will be held on August 21, 2019. The candidates who are interested in the calligraphy course need to know that the course is of two years. The officials also informed that the calligraphy course will be an in-depth study of the Urdu script. Also, the classes would be held on weekends for the pursuing candidates.
The officials of the academy also said that the candidates must fall in the age bracket of 16 to 30 years if they want to apply. While talking to media, the member of the Urdu Academy Shiraz Hussain said, "Students with a high school or secondary or equivalent degree with Urdu as a subject from recognised board are eligible to apply for this programme." The candidates who are interested for the course need to get the application form from the office of the academy on the working days.
The candidates can also download the forms from the official website of the Academy i.e. urduacademydelhi.com. The candidates should also note the last date of applying to the programme which is August 19. The academy will hold the entrance exam as well as the interview on August 21. Since, the course is free of cost, there is nothing to pay.
