The Examination fever is high on Delhi students as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board Exams are to commence from Monday for both Class X & XII.
But this does not stop the students from appearing in the exams. Rather, 13,73,853 Class X students will appear for the Central Board of Secondary Education examinations this year, a 3.37 per cent hike compared to last year.
Last year, 13,28,970 students had appeared for the examinations. 8,17,941 boys against 5,55,912 girls will sit for the exam.
In the case of Class XII, 10,40,368 students will appearing for the exam, 6,07,383 of whom are boys. The percentage increase of total students appearing is 1.01 as compared to last year, the statement added.
