The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced class 10 results on 31 May 2011 for Chennai and Delhi Region. About 67 percent students took internal exam under CCE (Continous and Comprehensive Evaluation) that was introduced last year while the rest opted for Board Examination.

The pass percentage of class 10 students in Delhi Region was 98.6%. 2,47,134 students chose the CCE system over board examination out of 2,98,330 students who registered for Class 10 this year in Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted class 10 exams from 1 March, 2011 to 25 March 2011.
