It will be a Big No for all fake enrollments which are undergoing in the ongoing examination scenarios by linking of Aadhaar Card Number for all major examinations.
As per the recent updates from the Union Government, the Aadhaar number for major examinations like Common Admission Test (CAT), National Eligibility-Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and National Eligibility Test (NET) will be linked on enrolling. The JEE Exam enrollment has already adopted the method of linking Aadhaar Number however; the same will be implemented on the other key examinations in 2017 as per the update.
As the examinations mentioned above are playing major role for admitting cream of the crop in the best colleges, the risk of fake enrollment is also high. Hence, the linkage of Aadhaar Number will eliminate this fear to negligible.
Aadhaar Card Number linking is not a rocket science! The candidates will only be required to submit their 12-digit Aadhar (UID) Number while enrolling/filling up the form or the 28 digit Aadhar Registration Receipt. Further, at the time of concerned examination, the finger-print will be taken through bio-metric attendance and will be cross checked with Aadhaar Server.
As per the officials, this new resolution will curb the fake enrollment practices and would give high-end monitoring facility.
