CGPSC Prelims Exam 2025: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) State Services Examination (SSE) is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow on February 9, 2025 in two shifts. As the prelims exam of CGPSC is scheduled to be conducted in next two days it is important for candidates appearing for the examination to revise all the concepts learned so far as well go through the CGPSC Prelims Important Questions.

Candidates going to attempt the examination tomorrow are recommended to download the admit card beforehand to avoid last-minute hassles. CGPSC Prelims examination will be conducted to recruit eligible candidates for 246 state service vacancies. The selection procedure includes prelims and mains examination along with the interview. Candidates will be called for the next phase of examination if clear the minimum cutoff as decided by the recruitmeng body.

CGPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates going to attempt the prelims examination must be well acquainted with the CGPSC Prelims Syllabus and exam pattern. The exam pattern will help candidates to analyse the topic wise weightage, number of sections and other relevat information. 

  • The medium of the question paper shall be Hindi and English.
  • As per the marking scheme, each question carries 2 marks and there shall be a negative marking of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in each paper for the unreserved category will be 33% and 23% for reserved categories. The second question paper shall be of a qualifying nature

CGPSC Prelims Admit Card 2025

Candidates are requested to download the admit card before. The admit card is the official document that is required by the candidate to carry to the examination centre. The admit card contains all the details regarding the examination. CGPSC Prelims 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates who are going to appear in the upcoming CGPSC preliminary examinations should ensure that they have gone through the exam day guidelines before attempting the examination. Check here the list of instructions that a candidate should follow on the day of the examination. 

  • Candidates should reach the exam centre one hour before the reporting time in order to complete all the requirements of the exam.  
  • Candidates should carry their admit cards and a valid photo ID to avoid any last-minute confusions at the exam centre.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre after the gates get closed.
  • The candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before it ends. So the candidates who completed their examination earlier will be requested to sit and maintain the decorum of the exam hall.
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to carry a hard copy of their card and valid ID proof to the exam hall.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to take their own belongings inside the examination hall, which includes watches, pagers, calculators, tablets, iPads, Bluetooth, mobile phones, or any other type of computing device.
