Established in 2003, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is responsible for holding and conducting examinations at the end of Intermediate Education, Secondary Education, Sanskrit Education and Madrasa Education. The State of Jharkhand came into existence on the 15 November 2000 and Jharkhand Academic Council was established by an Act proposed by the Jharkhand State Legislature.
