CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar Notified Recruitment of Scientists Posts 2013

Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology invited application for the recruitment of 17 Scientist and Senior Scientist posts 2013. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 27 June 2013. The Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology-IMMT, (formerly Regional Research Laboratory, Bhubaneswar) was setup as a premier establishment of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi in 1964 in the State of Odisha, in eastern India. The laboratory specializes in providing R&D support for process and product development with special emphasis on conservation and sustainable utilization of natural resources.

Age Limit

Scientist:  Candidates maximum age should be 32 years as on 27 June 2013.
Senior Scientist: Candidates maximum age should be 37 years as on 27 June 2013.
Scientist:  Candidate should be 1st class B.E. /B.Tech. /M.Sc. or equivalent degree with Post Graduate degree in Intellectual Property Law.
Senior Scientist: Candidate should be 1st class B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Mining/ Metallurgical/ Materials Engineering/Chemical/Bio-Chemical Engineering/Geology with Ph.D.
Educational Qualification

General and OBC categories Candidates must submit Demand draft of Rs.100 drawn on any nationalized bank valid for a period of three months in favour of “Director, CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology” payable at the State Bank of India, RRL Campus Branch (Branch Code-7499), Bhubaneswar.
SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR employees/Abroad Candidates are exempt from payment of application fee.

Scientist:  Rs.15,600 - 39,100 + GP Rs.6,600
Senior Scientist: Rs.15,600 - 39,100 + GP Rs.7,600

Selection Process

 Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test / Personal Interview.
