CTET Hall Ticket Download

The admit card contains the details of the exam centre, exam timings, roll number, and all other details of the applicants. The applicants should make sure that all the details are appropriate and make their travel arrangements.

Candidates will be 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete each test.

The admit card will be available two days before the exam i.e. on 5 July. The candidates can download it online from the website of CTET.

The main question paper will be set in bilingual languages i.e. English and Hindi. 

The CTET will apply to the Central Government (KVS, Central Tibetan Schools, and NVS) and schools under the administrative control of UT's of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.

The questions will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years. Other than this, the questions will be framed on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.

No, you will not be allowed at the exam centre after the commencement of the examination. The candidates will be required to report at 7:30 am for Shift 1 and at 12:30 PM for Shift 2 i.e. 120 minutes before the exam.

A seat showing the roll number of the candidate will be allotted to each student. Candidates have to find and occupy their allocated seat only. Those who are found to have changed their seat will have their candidature cancelled, and no plea will be accepted.

The examination hall will open at 7:30 am for Shift 1and 12:30 pm for Shift 2. You should take their seat immediately after opening of the exam fate. If a candidates do not report in time due to any reason, he/she may miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the exam centre.

The candidates are not allowed to keep the following items with them at the exam centre:

• Any stationery item like bits of papers, Plastic Pouch, Geometry Box, , Calculator, Scale, Pen drives, Writing Pad, Eraser, LogTable, Electronic Pen/scanner, Calculator, Cardboard etc.
• Mobile phones, Earphones, Bluetooth, Microphone, Health band, Pager and other electronics items
• Any Watch/Wrist watch, goggles, wallet/handbags, Gold/artificial ornaments etc. 

Admit Card is an important document for the exam. Applicants are required to show the admit card at the exam room/hall. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card will be not be allowed to appear in the exam.

The candidates who are given the CTET certificate can use it for a lifetime. There will be no expiry of the CTET Certificate.

There will be 30 MCQs on Child Development and Pedagogy(compulsory), Language 1 (compulsory), Language 2 (compulsory) and 60 MCQs on Mathematics and Science/Social Studies/Social Science.

CTET July Pre Admit Card Link

Candidates for Paper 1 will be given questions on Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory), Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Each subject will have 30 MCQs of 30 marks.

The questions will be based on the topics prescribed in the syllabus of the NCERT for classes 1st to 5th but the difficulty level could be of 10th class stage.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts as follows. The duration of the exam will be of  2 hours and 30 minutes as follow:

• Shift 1: 09:30 AM to 12:00 NOON
• Shift 2: 02:30 PM TO 05:00 PM

The candidates must not forget the following items at the exam centre:

• Printout of the admit card
• Valid ID proof of the admit card
