1. Operating Department: Candidates must have- i) PB-2 + GP Rs.4600 (Chief Train Controller) ii ) PB - 2 + GP Rs.4200 (Section Controller, Station Supdt. ) iii) PB - I + GP Rs.2800 (ASM/TI/MI) iv) Employees retired in PB-1 + GP Rs. 1800 Pointsman, Skilled/ Unskilled Staff)
2. Civil, Electrical, Signal & Telecommunication Department: Candidates must have- i) PB - 2 + GP Rs.4200 (Junior Engineer ), ii) PB - I + GP Rs.2800 (Technician - Gr.I) iii) PB - I + GP Rs. 2400 (Technician Gr.II) iv) PB - 1 + GP Rs. 1 800 (Trackman, Skilled/ Unskilled Multi – Tasking Staff)

Age limit: Below 63 years
