Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• SI (Workshop): Graduation in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering.
• SI (Master): 12^th or equivalent and Master Certificate issued by the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
• SI (Engine Driver): 12^th or equivalent and Engine Driver Certificate from the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
• HC (Master): 10^th and Serang certificate.
• HC (Engine Driver): 10^th and Engine Driver Certificate.
• HC (Workshop): 10^th and Industrial Training Diploma in Motor Mechanic Machinist, Welder, Fitter etc.
• CT (Crew): 10^th, 1 year experience in operating boat below 265 HP as a Greaser or Sukhani and knowledge of swimming.

Age Limit

• Candidate’s age should be between 20-25 years for SI (Workshop), HC (Master), HC (Engine Driver), HC (Workshop) and CT (Crew).
• Candidate’s age should be between 22-28 years for SI (Master) and SI (Engine Driver).
