DSSSB 2024 Age Relaxation

DSSSB PGT Eligibility

Candidates who wish to become Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in government schools are required to appear for the DSSSB PGT exam. They need to meet the eligibility criteria in order to appear for the exam.

If you intend to become Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), you must meet the following eligibility criteria.

DSSSB PRT Eligibility

To be eligible for the Primary teacher post, aspirants should have secured a minimum of 50% overall marks in their 10+2 grade from a recognized board. Additionally, they should have completed a certificate or degree program, including B.El.Ed., elementary education diploma, education diploma, or special education diploma, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% from an accredited institution. Furthermore, successful completion of the CBSE-conducted CTET exam 1 is also required.

DSSSB Eligibility for Assistant Teacher (Nursery)

As per the latest DSSSB notification, the commission has announced a total of 1455 vacancies for the Assistant Teacher (Nursery) position. Candidates who are planning to apply for the aforementioned position must meet the following requirements:

• Secured at least 45% marks in Class 12 or its equivalent.
• Completed a two-year diploma/certificate in Nursery Teacher Education Program, or hold a B.Ed degree in Nursery.
• Successfully passed the Hindi subject at the secondary level.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for the exam. As long as aspirants meet the age limit and educational qualification criteria, they are eligible to apply for the exam multiple times without any restrictions.
